Tina: A Little Boy's Crush

Since my son was 3 months old, he has attended the Carolina Festival. Since then he's always loved Twig. She is the first person we look for when we arrive. He is six years old now and still adores "his" Twig. We are really hoping to be able to make it out there this year. This will be the first year not going. We miss you, Twig!

Kajsa: A Good Friend

Twig has been one of my greatest friends.  She's what I look forward to every year at the Renaissance Festival in Minnesota.  It's easier to find her now there since she has a Twig the Fairy shop which she visits at certain times.  Twig is the best thing that's happened at the Renaissance Festival.  She never speeks but she tells how she feels in her music.  It's a joy to see her every year.  She always gives me little magic fairy stones and sprinkles fairy dust on them.  I've never figured out what they're for but I've always believed they're filled with some kind of magic she wants to give the world.  She will always be a little bit of a mystery to me.  But she'll also be a great friend.

Guest: Instant Smiles

I know it's mostly littles who just love Twig, but I was about 18 when I first met Twig and got my first pixie dust covered bauble and since then I always look for her when I get to the Renaissance Festival and have a nice collection of glittery Twig pebbles.  Just looking at the pebbles makes me smile.

Guest: Claire Loves Twig

Our four year old daughter Claire is 100% in love!  We tried to find Twig at the Arizona festival in February, but we had no luck.   But I promised my baby girl a fairy and so off to MN Fest we went.  We wern't in the gate 5 minutes when Twig appeared; playing music and handing out wishing stones.  That was all it took for Claire to be hooked.

Her bedroom is now officially Twig decorated and she has been begging me for Twig sheets and a comforter.  I think maybe it's time to start thinking about expanding your merchandise!!

Our family just loves you so much and appreciates how special you make the fest for Claire.  When you signed her poster last weekend it took her breath away.  She is awstruck and for good reason...you are pure talent and beauty!

The Kurtz Family: Twig - our inspiration

We first met Twig at the AZ Faire and since that time we have added 2 more children to our family. Our kids have grown to expect to see Twig at each visit to the Faire. (We attended just about every weekend while the faire was in town) She brings such joy to all 5 of our children and she leaves smiles on all of our faces each time we see her.

Twig we love you dearly and will miss seeing you as often this year! (We are moving from AZ to Northern CA) We will try to make it down at least once to see you this year! :)

Tess: From One Fairy to Another

My Twig story is this.

I went to the Festival on Saturday the 12, And Twig was the first thing on my list. I had spent a lot of time on my Fairy costume, I even made my own collapsible wings! After looking around forever my group found her in a gaggle of children. I didn's want to walk right into that. (I am graduating and very much not a little girl any more ;-0) so I waited patiently when `~POOF~` Off she goes at the speed of light! That little Fairy can RUN! So I missed her, I did find her again though, when there were fewer people around. I walked up to her and we started Fairying it out. It was so much fun to "talk" with her! She gave me a pretty green stone. Later I found her once again and gave her a butterfly from my garb. It was such a fun time! The best year!

Child at Heart: A Wish

I was so enchanted by Twig!  We saw her when we first got to the Festival and of course I had to have a picture taken with her!  I was so happy when she gave me a pretty little stone as a gift.  She was so fun to watch, especially with the children!  I kept my eye out for her the rest of the day.  Toward the end of the day we visited a booth where a woman asked if I wanted to be fairy dusted.  Of course I said yes!  She told me to close my eyes and make a wish while she sprinkled fairy dust on me.  I wished that I would see that pretty fairy again (I didn't yet know her name was Twig) before leaving the Festival for the day.  We wandered around for a while and were just discussing heading back to the car, when I decided to meander over to the Irish Heritage booths once more to see if there was any music playing.  It was fate!  We walked right toward a cluster of people, and in the center was Twig!  She was interacting with the cutest little red-haired girl in a pretty blue dress and got some great photos!  Then, on our way back to the entrance we saw her once more!  Not only did my wish come true once, it came true twice!  That's fairy magic!  :)

Thank you, Twig, for making my day all the sweeter!

Jeniffer Rothstein: The Fairies meet!

My family and I went to the Minnesota Ren Fest on Sunday 7th day of September and the first person my 15 month old met was Twig!  She wasn't quite awake yet and was very shy but she absolutely LOVED Twig!  Later on that day she saw her three more times and got more and more comfy with her!  She danced around her and checked out her every move while she played the flute.  Soon after my nephew was telling me how beautiful she was so we convinced him to tell her she was beautiful in sign language, it took some serious couxing(sp?) but he did walk up and tell her that.  She gave him a stone and held up a heart with her hands and he fell in love!  Now she is all he talks about and my daughter won't take off her fairy wings!  Thank You Twig for helping my nephew come out of his shell and making his and my daughter's day!  We hope to see you next year!

I recently watched your story with Jason Davis. Very touching.

I searched and searched for you on Saturday. I had a present for you. Fearing that I would not find you I left you a dragon tear on your nest.

Defeated, I was leaving. As if by magic THERE YOU WERE. I watched you fairying around with the kids.

I handed you the rest of the dragon tears bought for you and my wife snapped a quick picture.

Thank you so much for the beautiful stone sprinkled with fairy dust. It is my most prized possession!
