Guest: Ck Glassworks

I first glimpsed Twig in the streets of cartwheel cove in 2003.  As the season passed I learned more about my chosen craft of glassblowing and watched many times as Twig enticed and entertained more children.  I had to beckon her over one day just to tell her that after many years at many faire's she was the best fairy I had ever seen.  She played me a tune on her flute and danced away.  It is really pleasing to see how life has rewarded her for appearing among us human's. Best wishes.

Guest: Abigail and Twig at the Colorado Festiva...

We met Twig at the Colorado Festival on closing day. One of the people we went with insisted that we find and meet Twig, as she loves children and my almost three year old daughter was with us. Well, we found Twig pretty quickly and Abigail fell in love with her. We were talking to her when I noticed Twig give the sign for "thank you". So we started signing back a little bit, since we've taught Abigail some ASL. Twig and Abigail told each other that they were beautiful. Now whenever Abigail sees a picture of Twig, she says "My faerie."

Tyler: The Most Jawdropping Fairy I've Ever See...

I went to the Colorado Renissance Festival on June 20th (this had been the first time I'd been to one in 12 years, I'm 18 now) and first saw twig before they had opened the gates. It was at that moment I saw her playing her double flute and captivating eyes, I completely forgot where I was at because all I saw was twig and the background behind her. She was very sweet to my friends 5 yr old daughter, who managed to snag four stones from her. I would have loved to go and get a stone, but felt it would be a little odd being the guy with a beard getting a glittery stone with small children haha. Twig made that day wonderful for me, making me blush like a fool.

Thank you, you unforgettably beautiful fairy

Sincerely

Tyler K.

Guest: Twig and the Snow

It was the infamous Snow Day at Scarborough Faire. There were lovely little snowflakes drifting lazily down. It reminded me more of Colorado than Texas. I was huddled in my cloak waiting for Lord Cyrano to bring me some hot chocolate and watching the villagers and guests stroll by. I saw Twig come dancing down the lane, light on her feet as always. She was playing with the snowflakes! Trying to catch them with her fingers, a look of wonder on her face. She spied me watching her and gave one of her trademark shy giggles. I waved back and gave her one of my warmest smiles. She returned to playing chase with the snowflakes as I watched her till she was out of sight. What a wondrous thing to see, a Fairy playing with snowflakes. A sight I will keep in my heart forever and every time I remember it I smile.

 Thank you Twig.

Glitter Bomb: Faye

I was young (I'm only 13 now) when I first saw her. I live in Minnesota, and it was 2003, the first year she was there. I saw her wings, and I had always believed in fairies. I ran up to her and asked what her name was, she played a tune, I could almost tell that her name was Twig. She handed all of the other little kids a little fairie stone, I wanted one too. I sat on the ground in front of her, and took out my double flute. I had been playing since I was young. She was impressed. We played together for atleast half an hour in a hidden corner behind a shop. She looked at her pockets, and took out a big stone. It was bigger than the ones that the other kids got, and she kissed my cheek when she gave it to me. I loved her at that moment, just a little girl, playing a flute with a fairie. I promissed her I would see her again. I asked her what she loved most, and I knew that she probably wouldn't answer. But then she brought her face close to mine and mouthed "wish". Every year after that I've gone and played with her, letting her magic live on. One year I even danced with her, it felt like true faerie magic. Sometimes, I even think that if there is such things as faeries, Twig is one.

Brucet: The Beautiful Twig

The first time I saw Twig was several years ago at Scarborough Fair, and since then when ever I go to a fair that she is at I have to find her. With out seeing her the day is not complete. She makes me feel like a kid again.Saw her Saturday at CRF, we drove up from Texas on Friday and she was the first person I started looking for. A renaissance fair wouldn't be complete without her. I now have four stones from her, and I think of them as fairy Kisses.

ThatOneKid: The Pretty Fairy

The first time I saw her in MN, she looked back at me and I blushed really bad!  She certainly brings a magical presence to Ren Fest, and it just would not be the same without her music everywhere.

Josh: First sighting to remember

I've been going to the Minnesota festival for over 20 years.  I don't recall the year when I first saw Twig, but all I remember after seeing her was that I spent the rest of the day keeping an eye out for her, hoping to get another glimpse of the pretty fairy.

Perri: I love you!

Thank you so much Twig for making the world a brighter place,

There's no other being who could put a smile on anybody's face,

You made my day special, I will never forget it,

If I didn't get a picture, I would truly regret it!

Thank you Twig, for making my experience at the Colorado Renaissance Festival that much worth it :)

Foolscap: Thank you!

A couple of years ago at Siouxland, you approached and started playing. It took me a bit to recognize the tonality so I could join in without a trainwreck, but I managed... and had the best time I'd ever had there. Thank you so much--you're delightful!

Rowyn and Sundri: Thank you!

We came across Twig at the Colorado Renaissance Festival this last weekend and both wanted to say that she TRULY makes the festivals MAGICAL! Of all the fairies we have seen she is the most amazing and believable! She leaves you wondering and completely enchanted.

Thank you Twig, for making the festival experience so amazing! <3

Peyton Dubois: The Day I Met Twig

Twig is the best fairy I ever met.  She gave me a fairy stone that's shaped like a star and some fairy dust.  I looked for her all day long at the Colorado Renaissance Festival.  We walked the whole fairground to find her and we finally found her.  She is the bestest fairy ever, I love her so much that I want to give her a present, too.  We're going to come back to the festival in two weeks, so I will work on giving her a present then.

 The End!

(This was dictated by Peyton, who is five, but typed by her Mommy.  Thanks a lot, Twig--you made Peyton's day.  She was so excited to see you after seeing your picture on Facebook that she couldn't even hardly talk--and she couldn't believe that you gave her a star!  When she turned around and walked back to me--I've never seen a bigger smile or bigger eyes on her little face. It's her most cherished posession, and she's been telling everyone she sees about meeting a real, live fairy.)

Trevor Stevens: I gave Twig a smooch.

When I was at the Reniassance Festival here in Larkspur Colorado: June 28, 2009 Early in the day my friends and I were walking up by a shop and Twig was playing a tune on her flute and she winked at me and just walked on. (I turned red) Afterwards I towards the end of the day I just got done buying a wooden sword, when I bought the sword my friends tried to get me to fight the man selling the swords. But when I turned around to fight, Twig was playing on her flute merrily walking towards us. My Dad's Girlfriend told Twig I wanted a picture with her, so we took one and she handed me a stone, I gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug and she gave me another stone. So from then on I figured the stones from her were like: "Fairy Kisses" I'll never forget Twig cause shes the first girl to let me kiss her on her cheek!

Paidion: How to Find Twig

One of the things I've noticed about Twig is that she rarely (if ever) is where all the action is or big events are occuring.  Find a quiet spot at the Faire and wait.  :)

Jack Meier yes Im a girl: Jack: Something to be remembered by.

I've always seen Twig at the MN Renaissance Festival. Last year she was handing out 'Dragon Tears' and when she gave me one (it was clear and all awesome-like) I gave her a green one that I'd found at home! xD anyways, I thought it was cool giving a fairy something 'magic-ificle' (I was 11... I liked saying weird words... now im 12 and STILL like using weird words!) HAHA I wonder if she remembers that!  Tongue outWinkCool

Eleanor: An old friend writing

Gah! Twig, you're so photogenic, I'm jealous! =] At any rate, I just wanted to drop a line for my fairie friend. I'm glad that you are doing well, and can't wait to see you at MRF! Much love!

Lily the Blue Fairy: I wanna be like Twig!

I first met Twig in 2007 here at the Colorado Renaissance Festival.  I had seen her beautiful pictures on myspace and always had a passion for fairies, but she inspired me to be just like her.  I didn't know that she was going to be blessing OUR renaissance feestival but when I heard her wonderful music around the corner I HAD to meet her immediately.  Since meeting her my life as a fairy has greatly increased in wonder and amazement.  Twig even went out of her way to contact me when I was missing from faire to make sure that I was okay, and that made me feel very special.  Twig is a wonderful inspiration to all of us other fae!  Look forward to playing with her again this weekend again at the Colorado Renaissance Festival!

Guest: Watching a fairy bloom

I had the priviledge of seeing the first flights of Twig whilst doing battle with some mosquitos in the wetlands of Minnesota. Her beauty left me enraptured. It was no glamour such as the bards write about. It was the sheer joy she brings to each person she meets. One might dream of how sweet her voice might be, should she raise it in song.

Joshua Taylor: Every Story Has To Start Somwhere (Part ...

It has been 8 months since encountering Twig. I am almost complete with the first volume of my series and almost in time for CRF 2009. I do not even know how to begin to express my sincerest gratitude to Twig, because if it was not for her touching my life and my heart, I would not even be here, writing this and writing my poems. I would probably be doing something that I will probably regret doing. Fate has a mysterious way of doing you good for I honestly believe that it was pure coincidence that I am where I am right now.

So Twig, if you happen to be reading this, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart and my soul. My life is never the same as it has changed into a much more positive and creative direction, and I have you to thank.

                Thank you very much.

                Sincerely.
